Be Blue ! over 29thST
The Blues: QwErTy, ava, Blay, bubbles and special guest Plexi
The 29ths: Fluttershy, Kasos, Raptor, Dovakhiin, Sebek
Firstly, thanks to the opposition for letting us have Plexi as a ringer as we had a few no shows on the day.
29th are the only team that have beaten us this season, on the first day, so we were quite tense coming into the match.
First round we started as Americans; we managed to get a few fullcaps and the 29ths got one... annoyingly, we would have had another if the roundtime had lasted 1 second longer, although it wasn't much of a problem as we finished with around a 300 point lead. We played particularly well in the first round, with our bottom scorer only being 200 points behind 29th's top scorer.
Special mention AGAIN to Avatar; he started playing minute man and started slicing and dicing with the knife. Not enough to convince me to surrender that class to him, but damn, who said teenagers shouldn't have access to knives?
Second round the damage dynamic changed quite substantially. Fluttershy decided to evolve into his final form and rampaged around the map, collecting Blue scalps.
Surprisingly, our very own QwErTy bottom fragged. Now, we have several ideas as to how this happened:
- Fluttershy found Q's performance enhancing drugs at half time
- According to Q there is still an issue in the Brit spawn which forces you to suicide (sure mate...!)
- There is something wrong with the server. I say this because EVEN MORE SURPRISINGLY, Blayz0r managed to top frag! What sort of inverse world are we living in?!
Only joking; Blayz0r had been practising all week, channelling his inner Hobbit and boy dun gud.
This round I think we managed 2 full caps and 29ths managed 1 again.
Anyway, there is a possibility that this is our last write up and our first BG3 championship. Thanks to everyone involved in the league, roob and the other clans - it's been fun. Signing out from yo boi ~ bubbles.
